Our house

Cocoa,
an obsession.

When Antoine Beauchemin came home from Lyon in 2014, he brought back more than craft : the conviction that great chocolate begins with the bean.

We work directly with six cooperatives — Madagascar, Peru, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ivory Coast, Ecuador — for traceable beans, carefully fermented and roasted one batch at a time in our workshop.

No shortcuts, no industrial couverture. Every bar, every ganache, every praline is born here, a few metres from the boutique. It takes longer. It tastes truer.

« We did the tasting workshop on a Sunday afternoon and walked out blown away. You finally understand the gap between Peru and Madagascar cocoa. Will repeat. »

Frequently asked

Everything before you indulge

Are your chocolates really house-made?

Yes, 100%. We buy raw beans in jute sacks, then roast, grind, conche and temper everything on site. No industrial couverture, no pre-made paste. You can visit the workshop on appointment.

Do you have gluten-free, lactose-free or vegan options?

All our dark bars are naturally gluten-free and lactose-free. Many of our truffles and pralines are too. Each item is clearly labelled in store and on the boxes.

Do you ship across Canada?

Yes : Montreal and Laval via cargo-bike delivery within 24h, and Canada-wide via Canada Post (2-5 business days). Cooled shipping included in summer to protect the chocolate.

Do you offer corporate or gift orders?

Yes, from 10 identical boxes. Personalisation available : ribbon, hand-written card, embossed logo on the sleeve. We recommend a 10-business-day lead time. Quote within 24h.

Do you run workshops and tastings?

Three options : guided workshop visit (45 min, $18), blind tasting of the six origins (90 min, $45), hands-on truffle-making class for adults or children (2 h, $75). Online booking.

How should I store my chocolates?

Ideally between 16 and 18°C, away from light, in a dry place free from strong odours. Never in the fridge: humidity will bloom the chocolate. Ganaches keep 3 weeks, bars up to 12 months.

How do you handle allergens?

The workshop processes nuts, gluten and dairy. Every allergen is listed on the product. For severe allergies, contact us : we can prepare a dedicated-line order.

Do you take custom orders for weddings, baptisms, events?

With pleasure. Favours, chocolate centerpieces, sugared pralines, custom cocoa logos: we work on quote with a 3-week minimum lead time.
